car wouldnt keep running w/o choke fully engaged.. (archive)

Man, I need more help. So I'm driving, then the car keeps dying,
then I pull the choke all of the way out, and it will hold an idle, but its at 2500RPM, and thats crazy, so I try to trim the choke, and it keeps on dying. Then I'm driving it some more and then it turns back to running like an angel! Man, this is getting to be really annoying! any suggestions????
