: Ok, how do I place the pertronix red lead (pos) in front of the resistor wire when it runs from the positive coil terminal all the way to the ignition switch? I'm guessing I can just find a switched 12v source, but where would that be?

: Or can I just tap into the resistor wire as is? This'd be a hell of a lot easier to figure out if I had a ceramic-type resistor. I've done a bunch of ignition/electrical FAQ reading on the net, but am still slightly fuzzy on this stuff.

: Help!

The red pertronix wire goes to the + side;
the black goes to - (neg) side of the coil.
The black wire from the dist. to the coil you can unplug, it isnt being used anymore.(the one from the condensor)
Assuming you have installed the pickup and ring inside the dist. already, you are done. :)
