the veng (or most cheap aftermarket sheetmetal) is also reverse-engineered using an oem part as a pattern, so the lines are generally not as crisp, something is lost in the translation...

Plus, you will probably burn tons of holes in it when you try to weld it...

definitely stay away from pattern type rocker panels especially--they are a curse, especially when you can get the real thing for sixty bucks.
