I've had the VW piece and E12 master cyl. in my car for a little while now, so I'll give you my impressions. I think there is an improvement in pedal feel, particularly as you begin braking harder. The design of the valve seems to allow a bit of fluid return, which seems odd, but the pedal does feel better regardless. Once my car has fully recovered from its winter layup and the brakes get back to being happy (it always seems to take a good month of driving before they really feel right) I'll post a follow-up.

BTW, the advantage to using the E12 part is that it is cheaper and slightly larger in piston diameter than the tii.

: Late 80's VW Golf pressure vavle may accomplish the same as a Tii master...maybe for less $$$. At least that is what I read. (I hope cause I just bought it)

: : I JUST installed all of the above mentioned hardware on my '75..(along with '77 320i brakes all the way around)...I was just getting ready to do the bleeding when I noticed my brake pedal is very stiff..I guess I have Windshield Washer Fluid freeze up...and a 4" snow fall in Philly PA didn't help...

: :anyway...I will post my results, I have my fingers crossed on the VW Golf pressure valve.. I have an extra one if you want it...John L
