I need some help.

I'm having what I think in a fuel system problem with my 72 o2. I have the old solex carb on it too.

The problem is, I don't think that any gas is going through the carb. The strange thing is that I was driving it and it suddently just stopped. When I poped the hood to see the problem I notived that a piece of the secondery barel was in the carb and that the gasket is comming off and was hanging off into the primary.

How did this happen? What does anyone think happend. THe carb is only about 5 years old and it has worked very well for me. I hardly ever even gets out of tune.
