: : Any advice before I put my e21 recaro's in my 73 2002. I have heard they don't centre in front of the steering wheel. Any advice is much appreciated.

: Steve,

: I had a set of recaros out of 320s and it seemed centered to me when I had installed them, I had the brackets and they slid right in and they felt great. I didn't notice being off center and I'm a Mechanical Engineer
: Question: Where did you get your Recaros from?, I recently sold my '73 and in the process of buying a '71, which has the stock horsehair seats. I been spoiled by the Recaros.

: '73 Had one
: '71 Soon to have one

I have 320is Recaros in my 73 Tii and they fit perfectly...on center...right on the mark. Should be a very straignt forward swap. I think you need the tracks from the 320 though.
