I guess this is off topic...but you can smog your '76 with a 284 cam (dr. shrick, i presume?)...Just curious, as my ENGINE abates. I just picked up an admittedly non-smoggable 38DGES...and I'd love to see what that carb could do feeding a 284.

As for the exhaust, I'd tend to think that 2.5" pipe is a little on the big side for almost any naturally aspirated 4 cylinder. I was thinking about going to a 2 and a quarter system, but then the finances crapped out. Even with the 40DCOEs, 2 1/4 would be the biggest I'd go. Just a guess, however. As for the muffler.....SuperTrapp!!!
