I priced shipping to D.C. few months back and it was $750 for a 02.

I did however ship mine for restoration from L.A. to San Francisco last week for $200 by Courtesy Auto Transport in Fontana California and they delivered it in one day. They were extremely professional and prompt. The car carrier came to my house and picked up the car but my 1972 02 was the highlight and the most impresive of the nine brand new fancy cars already loaded on the truck.

I had called other places but they were all much higher.
