: I have 320is Recaros in my 73 Tii and they fit perfectly...on center...right on the mark. Should be a very straignt forward swap. I think you need the tracks from the 320 though.

Actually, on further inspection I would have to admit that they are not exactly on center. But looking at the seat track mounts, and everything else I am wonderin whether the original seats are exactly on center. The center of the wheel looks to be about 1-2 inches to the right of the center of the seat/tracks. Not sure why but the position feels very comfortable and in the three years of driving the car like this I have never noticed it until you mentioned it. Good luck.
