: ON MY '74, THERE ARE THESE PLATES THAT SIT ON TOP FENDERS ABOVE THE STRUT TOWERS. DON'T CAMBER PLATES USUALLY GO BENEATH THE FENDERS? IF THEY'RE NOT CAMBER PLATES, THAN WHAT?

: TIA,
: XAVIER

Those are not camber plates, they are the spacers that were between the strut housings and the fender.
Somone has put them on top to lower the front a little (about 1/2"-5/8" thick?)
they are fine where they are or you can take them off and save them.
good luck Brian
