Well, I finally got my 02 running. Don't ask me what I did, but now it runs. (I cleaned out the garage to prepare to pull the head and I guess the 02 doesn't appreciate being kept in a cluttered garage!) Anyways I got a new muffler and was able to drive it for a total of about 2 hours over a span of 3 days or so. (It is kind of "missing" when warm between 2-3k rpms. I just put in Bosch Platinums to soon be informed from the board that they suck, so maybe I need new NEW plugs?) Unfortunately my gearshift, which has a lateral movement of approximately eight feet decided to rub on the guibo (that was replaced last summer) and crack the sucker. Now I'm in the 72 Ford F-100 3-on-the-tree-lime-green-camper-shell-matress-in-the-back-needs-new-paint-but-DOES-have-brand-new-muffler-also-and-brand-new-shocks-needs-a-new-steering-wheel-6-cylinder-but-only-gets-about-12-mpg-and-gas-costs-a-fortune-but-I'm-grateful-my-dad-lets-me-drive-it-or-I'd-have-to-walk, and missing my BMW. What is the cheapest (I'm talking zip-ties and bailing wire) solution to pull my shift mount away from my gweeeeeebow? Thanks.

P.s. I don't think I'll be able to make Texas 02 fest now! Crap.
