I have saved money by buying the parts myself from an 02 speciality shop. Fortunatly my local brake guy was willing to install them. This was particularly helfull as I needed to drain and refill all the fluid; very tedious to do alone on the street.
Good luck, fix them well.

: I have made a few posts here over the last few days. My "new" 2002 has been to the mechanic and he was thoroughly impressed with it. (i took it there to have it looked over properly, let me know what needs to be done to it etc. also i had no luck unsticking the clutch myself).

: the car needs a few minor things (needed a battery after having sat for 2 years, and other stuff related to not being driven). the biggest thing the car needs is brakes. hope that doesn't cost too freaking much.

: a lot of people do their own work on these cars, but right now, i just don't have the time and i need to get the car on the road. hope brakes (could be all the way around, front and back) doesn't cost too freaking much.
