Hi,
the plate that is on the post is held up
by a small bracket that is welded to the
body and the plate should not fall down.
to remove the panel first pry the front
edge near the door away from the body it
has plastic clips (2) that keep it attached
to the body. then carefully lift up on the
arm rest and or put a screwdriver, long
one, behind the panel on an angle and tap
the top edge up. this will loosen the panel
which can then be lifted up to remove.
