beg to differ: specs call for a wee bit of play in the front wheel bearings - better not to over-tighten. Of course they can be too loose, but there should be just a little vertical play. Steering can be adjusted with wheels on the ground - one hand on the steering wheel, other at 3:00 on the tire. A little wiggle of the wheel should produuce a corresponding wiggle of the tire. Agree you don't want to overtighten the steering box.
