I have a rusted BMW. I've got spare parts (front fenders, passenger side door) and i've got other areas that i have used bondo, rust converter, etc. It ain't a pretty sight. I also have too much rust in important areas to ever get the car restored, so that was my justification for using a discount painter. I wont get it painted any other way b/c of the condition of the car, but mine can't get any worse. Those are the factors I considered.
