If I rephrase Lee explaination right...

When reversing the rear subframe mounts you
raise the rear subframe, (nearer to the floor)
so it lower sensibly the car,but it also
push the top of the tire out, which correct
the extra in-camber du to very short springs.

As far as the "interchangeability"
I simply thought it was the bolts patern that
