Your very welcome. I was going to mention to you that if you needed the pages I could fax or e-mail 'em to you. This book is really a must for all serious 'O2 owners.

Take care & happy motoring!

: : Hi Chris,

: : Generally speaking the raised "grand piano" top pistons will only work on an E-12 cylinder head. With the 121 or 121TI head the raised "bath tub" type pistons will work.

: : Refer to Mike McCartney's "BMW 'O2 Restoration Guide" on pgs 106-110 for extensive explainations on cylinder heads, valves and piston uses. HTH.

: : Regards,

: : Tim

: : : I just found out that #2, & #4 pistons on my car have very low compression. I fucked them up by using my dual side drafts but they were not tuned correctly.I have a good head with the 121 72 stamp on it, should I rebuild the 76 or use the 72. I also want to use a set of the tii piano tops in place of the stock pistons WILL IT WORK??!
: : : Thanks to everyone that keeps this board going!!!
