1973 Chevrolet Vega: Worst car ever designed in US history. Sold it after I was rear ended in it on the freeway by a mid-70's Ford LTD. My 1st car and only American build car in my life.
1976 BMW 2002: I called it the "Beige Bimmer". I paid exactly $7004 for it new from German Motors in San Francisco. Sold it after the dealer told me that I needed a new $800 thermoreactor. This was after I just put in a new factory engine ($2500 total) and Clardy A/C ($1500) in it. I was spending more money fixing it then it was worth to me at the time. Worst mistake I ever made. Sold it to a Jewish doctor who gave it to his son at USC (aka University of Spoiled Children). He didn't deserve to own a '02.
1982 Toyota Supra: The closest thing to a muscle car that I ever owned. It was fun until the hydraulic valve tappets started to stick. The dealer wanted $3800 to repair. Sold it to the dealer mechanic for $3800.
1990 Honda Civic LX: Probably the most useful best designed reliable car I've ever owned. My daily driver with 225,000 miles on it.
1974 BMW 2002: My weekend fun car. I guess I'm trying to re-live my 20's. At least this time around, I have a garage to work on the '02.
