I'm not sure '02s will be particularly valuable in the near future. There still seems to be a lot of them out there. (Tii's are another story.) If you plan to keep this car for a long time (5+ years), then paint it whatever color you think will look best on it, keeping in mind that not all colors look good on a car this old. The car should please you every time you see it, right? A car with bad paint can be a depressing eyesore (or a rebellious symbol of non-conformity), but new shiny paint in any OEM color (even Sahara) can grow on you. If the paint is good enough to wax, then you'll probably appreciate whatever color it may be. So if your car has any modifications to it from when it rolled out of the showroom, including an aftermarket carburetor (non-Solex) or a motor that doesn't match the VIN, keeping it the stock color shouldn't be too big of an issue. If your car is a low-mileage, rust-free, bone-stock Tii, then a stock paint color will definitely help it keep its value. Just my 2 cents...
