You're welcome, come drive with us again anytime!
I was really impressed with the turnout, we must have had 20 '02s with us at one point. Although mine was the lead car, I liked looking in the rearview mirror at the never-ending collumn of 02s following me. The cars in the back had the best view of course!
When we parked at the Chabot Golf Course we had a continuous line of '02s parked in a row, right along the fairway, perfect photo op! We even had an E30 M3 with us.
Vince was working I think, and the guy with the Turbo drove in from Nevada just for the drive! Wasn't that car immaculate?? It only had like 60k miles on it too. There were quite a few great-looking '02s out there, including a Turkis car, a Colorado car, a Malaga car, and several others...not including my rust-colored 1600!
I personally drive these roads, and other ones like them in the Bay Area often, so email me sometime when you and anyone you know want to go on a drive and I'll get some more drivers to come along as well. The Bay Area sure has some really nice backroads.
Talk to you later,

: To the the organizers of the East Bay fun ride....David, JP Collins and staff.
: Thanx for yesterday's tour of the Oakland Hills and back country, it was a great adventure driving the winding roads which I haven't seen. It was great seeing all of the other '02 pilots for a country drive (Vince S. Where were you, sleeping in??). Who was the Turbo driver with the Nevada plates?
: To all of you had suspension setups, it must have been a treat thru the winding roads while I suffered with my 165 x 13 stock wheels (brutal squealing). I can't wait to put on the tires and wheels I have, with some rear Bilsteins and springs. I had some othe obligations otherwise I would have finished the ride.
: It was fun, great to meet the other '02 pilots.
