: I have returned from the most bizzare riding experience I have ever had in an automobile. I went to Carlisle PA and met up with one of my customers from Boston who owns (among 19 other weird and assorted machines)a 1950's Messerschmidt Bubble car (yes! brought to you by the same gentle and kind folks who produced the ME 109 fighter plane in 1940)

: I am here to tell you that there is no experience like riding in a 3 wheeled 1950s German car at 35-40 mph and then doing repeated donuts in the wet grass (4,5,6 times around!)

: I almost wet my pants I was laughing so hard!!!!

: The car looks and sounds like some otherworldly insect like thing, has 4 forward AND reverse speeds, and has a convertible cockpit that opens just like a fighter plane! The looks we got by the hundreds of onlookers at Carlisle while we did our bad boy grass thing was absolutely priceless!!!

: Anyone who has never seen or heard of such a car is urged to check one out (maybe through the bubble car clubs on the 'net) - just to see how insane these little monsters really are!

: Sorry to waste bandwidth - but the experience was such a damn riot - I HAD to share it !

: Thanks for the Hell ride Hal!

Paul, Just got back from Carlisle and logged-on to the Web board while having a beer. I saw that Messerschmidt Bubble car down there. I was one of the "hundreds of onlookers". The weather was a little crappy, but still had a good time. Glen
