DRAIN THE GAS TANK! or fill it totally up. If you don't do this water will condense in the tank and you'll get some rust which will pleauge you for years (from experiance).

Disconect the batery.

Keep it covered.

As far as I know, the storage of a car isn't too bad. Its the restart that you need to watch out for. That means, drain all the fluids and replace; replace belts, hoses, etc.
