: Does anyone know the difference in weight between the 02 steel wheels and the original optional alloys? Is the difference in ride noticable or mostly cosmetic? TIA.

Well considering I just bought a set of 13x5 bottlecap alloys from Paul at Maximillian's and have a spare steel wheel too I thought I would find this out.

According to my highly calibrated Bat-room scale:

Steel wheel: 16 lbs
Alloy wheel: 11 lbs

The Steel wheel feels noticably heavier, when I went out to the garage to pick both wheels up I knew the steel wheel was going to weigh more.
