I'm embrassed to admit this. One time, I couldn't get the socket onto the #4 sparkplug. After struggling for 15 minutes, I got frustrated and took a break. Afterwards, I looked at everything including the sparkplug cables. For some reason, the little rubber boot for the #4 cable connector was missing. Guess where I found it? Yeah, still attached to the #4 sparkplug. After that little disaster, I remind myself that I'm still a wannable novice car hack. Not a good one at that...

BTW, get your self a good socket, 3" extension, and u-joint. Then get all 3 pieces tag welded to each other. You never have to fish out a sparkplug socket again...
