: hi guys!

: i was trying to remove my plugs for tune up purposes but no matter how much i tried wrenching on the ratchet i couldn't budge the plug!

: i'm using a 13/16 spark plug socket with a 3/8" drive ratchet.

: i don't know if it's cuz i don't have the leverage or the wrong size drive but it's been frustrating! and no mechanic at a gas station has been samaratin enough to just loosen the plugs for me! one numb nut was even charging me $20 bux!

: any advise please.....

: thanx.

Take care using all the mechanical cheating devices...I imagine that the plug is stuck in the head....A good way to avoid tearing up the threads...Warm the engine up before attempting...This works sometimes...Also, spray a good amount od good old WD-40 down there...not when its hot, but warm...Let it sit a moment and give it a try..Be sure to use the proper anti seize when reinstalling the plugs...And use a torque wrench to reinstall..Alloy heads aren't very forgiving...Those torgue numbers in the manual are there for a reason...Good Luck...Brian
