: This sounds really nice! Not very classic, but very nice. What would be the cost?

: : yesterday while playing around with the molds for my friend's ducati pieces, thought about replacing the faux/ersatz wood grain with grey & black carbon fiber. it is so thin you could just paste it on. what say you 02ers out there, and what would you pay for it. could also go on pre '74's as well. i like standard stuff, but that wood grain is so....bogus!

i saw somebody that had done this on a 2002 at the texas '02 fest. it looked really nice. another thing you could do is hoerr racing sells sheats of thin or cored carbon fiber @ about 18$ a foot?....(im not sure about this but if anyone wants to know ill look it up...).you could possible cut out the right size hole sor the guages and make your own panel.
just a thought ive had.
