To remove the quarter window knob, there is a small hole on the back side. Use a small allen wrench to pop the center cover off.

Once all of the hardware is off, pull the panel away from the sheetmetal. The panel is held in place with about 10 to 15 plastic inserts on the edge. Personally, I use a special fork shaped tool to pull the panel/insert away from the sheetmetal. You could also do it the brute force way or a screwdriver. It's not unusual to break 4 or more of the inserts when one removes a door panel.

Then push the panel straight up to remove the panel.
