Here goes...

As extravagances go, I like it alot. I went with the 3 qt. model, manual valve. Remote CM oil filter and all the aeroquip braided hoses. Mounted the tank in the cockpit, passenger side, trany tunnel. Ran the line through the back panel of the console, with the valve out the side by my right thigh. I drilled through the firewall above and a little right of the gas pedal. Whew.

What do I like about it? I NEVER lose oil pressure to the point of seeing my idiot light. I used to see it often during heavy braking (which I love) and hard steering (a close second). When I replaced my oil pump I found that the windage junk in the oil pan had vibrated into scrap and come loose. Not too helpful. I like the added confidence of extra pressure, extra oil, and oil pressure before I even hit the starter.

I know, I know. The purists amoungst us will har-dee-har, but I like it anyway.

Oil filter? CM with the 8 micron filter. I'll e-mail some pics if you like.

Happy motoring!
