I did the timing with one of those g-tech gadgets (3 times)maybe it would have been a smidge lower with the trunk empty. here's what I have:
73 tii
9.5 to 1 pistons with no gap rings
petronix and msd-6a
reworked (ported and polished)head with a 278 cam
3.90 lsd rear end (with a 5 speed up front)

It idles great and pulls hard all the way.

: Hello

: I'm having my 2002 restored and I'm curious about the 0-60 times I can expect with it.

: The single carb engine is being rebuilt as a Stage 2, and it is estimated that it will produce 140+ HP. Other mods (camshaft upgrade and exhaust system upgrade) allegedly boost the HP to 150. For the sake of argument, let's say HP=150.

: There will be a 5-speed transmission upgrade (although I am not yet familiar with the details).

: As far as weight issues go, the rest of the 2002 should be stock (with exception to the brakes (bigger) and shocks).

: If anyone has a similar set-up, I'd be very curious as to what 0-60 times you experience on average. I'm not a speed demon, and I know there is much more to the 2002 than just speed, but it is a benchmark that I'm curious about.

: Thanks!

: Duncan
