There was a special model available in black but it came on the market after March of 1975-this was to keep interest in the 02s while the E21s where being readied. The "black variant" had light alloy wheels, folding door pockets the "L" seat covers with center arm rests front and rear and wooden door cappings. I have never heard of any of these cars being imported to the US (there was also a polaris version) and anyway this was a 1975, not a 1974, as in this case. However as previous posts have stated, schwarz is rare and looks cool on the 2002.
