: All 2002s originally came with a sticker denoting the color of the car ... schwarz (black) on this car and taiga (metallic green) on my 73 tii.

: : the odometer says 124K, several small surface rust spots around the trim strip, although they all sem to have paint on them, no rust thru's, no rust around the strut areas,no cracks in dash, no rips in interior, but the stuffing feels pretty dried out, no rust around sun roof, no rust around the door bottoms or directional lites, paint looks ok, needs compounding and wax. There are unusual rims similar to the spoked (not wire)ones I've seen on tii's, they are stamped "minilite england", any knowledge of these? battery is dead but when jumped, car runs quietly with no smoke, car has been sitting outside at least 1-2 years, weather stripping around windshield is very cracked and dried out, no evidence of water inside, driver side carpet ripped and feels like center of floor rusted pretty badly.

: You can still get horsehair pads for the seats (about $80 each from Maximillians) or take them to an upholstery shop to have pads made. The Minilite wheels (cool IMHO) are probably 13x6s from the 70s and cost (new) about $200 each today. Most people upgrading to minilite style wheels go with Panasports (14x6 or 15x6) because they're a little cheaper than the real thing. The fact that the car has sat outside so long doesn't sound too good. A rusty floor pan is probably just the tip of the iceberg. How about the rockers and wheel and spare tire wells?
