Took my tank out to have it cleaned and then sealed it with POR 15. Didn't redo the gasket like Dwight suggested but I may loot into that now...

In addition to what everyone else has said... There was a square nut on the bottom of the rear passenger side bolt that required a second person to hold a pair of pliars on it while I undid the bolt. Nut on the rear passenger side bolt is a pain to get at because of the exhaust, but is very do-able. It's definitely a do-it-yourself job though.
