: How hard is to put disks in the rear? Can you put the front disks in the back, then put 320i (1977-1979) vented disks in the front?

Christian,

Check the archives. You'll find a wealth of options there. From cheap (Volvo calipers on 320i vented rotors) to major bucks, e.g. Ireland. Many of the prevailing sentiments are that your fronts do almost all the stopping, spend your time and energy there first.

If you're willing to bump around your local wrecking yard, you'll likely to find that it won't cost you all that much.

Cheers!
