Pertronix Problem - Help ! (archive)

Converted ignition to Pertonix and everything was fine for about 50 miles of highway driving. Then, I noticed a few flat spots, which progressively got worse. Then the tach started acting erratically and finally it died. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
