Pertronix wiring problem (archive)

Tried to connect a Pertronix and found that the relay on the firewall, just above the coil, is miswired. This is a '69 2002 with a 72tii dist. and blue bosch coil and separate resistor. Can anyone explain how it should be wired? If I get it right then I think I can attasch the Pert. no problem. What's giving me the most trouble is that the relay has a red (hot) wire to the center connector, green on the left and a brown and a black on the right. All the factory shop manual diagrams do not indicate a hot wire to the relay - they show a green wire coming off the middle of the relay. The wiring looks stock (actually, I have a '71 that is wired the same way.)
TIA
Bill
