correct p/n for '74tii distributor? (archive)

I just bought a used '74tii distributor with p/n 0 231 180 013...is that the correct p/n? and if so, I have heard they are a vacuum retard type distributor with dashpot..better than the earlier tii distributors. Opinions?

Will this distributor help my ailing 'stock '76 '02?

Comments welcome....I have the car running and "timed" but it still has a slight "miss"...I still think it may be the distributor.
