Also check that the wires coming out of the distributor haven't moved and are rubbing against the cam. I had this happen, took a little RTV, repositioned the wires so they didn't touch anything and glued the wires inside the rubber block where it comes out of the dizzy. Mine has been working great ever since (about a year.)
