This car is a gem! Handles superb! This is a California car and was serviced at Phaedrus, well known in the bay area. The previous owner bought this car from a dealership in Marin County, CA back in 1993 w/ 57,675 miles. I have the purchase agreement, documents and odometer disclosure statement. The current mileage is 69,800. Over $ 6,000 have been invested in this car since 1993, not incl. sound system. Receipts are included. This car has ZERO rust!! This is an original 4 speed and shifts smooth in ALL gears. It has the original Kugelfisher ignition pump. This car has a CAM added. Sunroof works excellent. RARE ($1,200-1,400)ALPINA WHEELS each with 4 locking lug nuts. This car is equiped with BF Goodrich Comp TA ZR rated tires. 205 50 15 on the back with 195's on the front. Slight flares professionally done. Alpina struts, Bilsteins. BMW logo mats, momo wheel and shifter. Three newer gauges as you can see in the picture for oil,etc. This car has an additional gift being a PREMIUM audio system. (approx. 4k) Included and professionaly installed as follows: Alpine seperates, including a cd player, tuner and cassette, crossover and equalizer. Alpine speakers in the rear with Infinity up front. Neatly installed in the trunk are THREE Proton Amplifiers and a subwoofer nicely mounted. Guess what? You also have an Alpine remote alarm system. What else? A fire extinguisher mounted and recently certified, in the trunk. This car once again has ZERO rust. The dash looks brand new. Perfect compression throughout it's life and recently tested. The tii uses Castrol synthetic. Other refurbishments since 1993 as follows: New shaft seals and reverse lamp switch, front springs and struts and rear springs and shocks. New tires w/ refinished Alpina wheels, new steering box, sway bars, stress bar, ignition distributor, steel braided brake lines and a nice cam. So what else? Glass is excellent, back seat is perfect, headliner great, carpet like new, front seats comfy recarros, perfect glove box and clean door panels. You even get a cup holder. The electric is perfect. Lenses are very nice. Lots of power! I am impressed with the handling each and every time I drive the car. Your probably wondering why I am selling.....Unfortunately I can not keep it. The reason it is so unfortunate is because after looking for 2002's for a long, long time and viewing well over a dozen, this was BY FAR the best.
