i've been noticing lack of response---then took off boot to the throttle body to see that the gas pedal is not opening the venturi more than, say, half. have had this problem before after a rebuild but not this bad and was able to fix it -- i moved the linkage to the second hole on the bracket near the air box... thing it is, that really has me blanked now, is that i haven't been fiddling with the car and it was running fine until a couple days ago. now everything i do makes it worse--it's barely drivable....there seems to be one hell of a lot of play coming from the pedal box and that linkage....disconnecting the long linkage rod leading to the firewall, i am able to pull the venturi open with no significant problem......oh yeah, the spring inside the top of the throttle body is fine, and the other external spring under the intake runners is fine too.

if anyone has a clue call me and i'll call you right back....hit me at 757.270.8016
