Hey there. I was just wondering how exactly can I turn off the heat in my car from the valve.....the cable seems to be broken , either that or I need a new valve.....I'd just like to know how to switch it for now from under the hood.......and BTW, where is the cable that's supposed to turn it on and off, I can't see it from the outside....is it in w/ the hose or something? I know, I sound ignorant today....the summer's turning my brain into mush. TIA!

To shut off heat, reach in from pass. side. The lever is on the driver side of the valve, you will have to feel for it. Move the lever toward the rear of the car, this should shut it off.
