Could I have some advice from anyone who has ever done this. Where did you buy the new studs? Does someone sell a kit that has new thread inserts or did you custom build it? Has anyone considered using stainless steel inserts? I think the only problem with the stainless steel might be the expansion rate of the cylinder head as compared to the aluminum cylinder head (it is aluminum, correct?).
Any input will be greatly appreciated

Try using a propane torch to heat up the area first then use visegrips on the studs and gently turn them out.
Ive done it and had no problem thats assuming you are replacing all the studs with new ones.
I used permatex copper sealant on the threads and havent had any leaks or other problems (its good because its very heat resistant)
good luck,Brian
