Hello, I got the car up in the air (rear wheels on ramps and front end perched on 'stands placed under frame rails behind wheels, with 2x4s about 15 inches long between rail and stand to help spread weight). Anyways, now the car is really high (hehe), and I cant really open the hood all the way, so I want to remove it. I wanted to remove it anyway so I can do the A/C kit and put the 38/38 in there, set up the wiring for moving the battery to the trunk, etc. Should I undo the bolts that go through the front behind the grilles, or the ones on the hood itself? What should I do besides the obvious (marking everything) to prepare the hood/hinges/etc. and make it all easier to replace and return to proper alignment? Experienced responses only please?
