I just replace the cable from the battery in the trunk
to the starter.

I have purchase a 325i cable, ( 11 feets ½ ) and it's
barely to short.

The battery had to be put completely to the left with
the positive terminal on the left also.

The cable is inside the car folowing the electr. wires
alongside the driver rocker panel .

The cable is 1 in. in diameter and it have one end
with a built-in batery connection but for the starter
end you have to find a connector , not easy for that
size.
