I went down to a welding supply house and purchased fifteen feet of electrical grounding cable for an arc welder. It is plenty thick and flexible, too. You can go any auto parts store and purchase the other ends you need. I put my battery in a marine battery box within the trunk. It protected this way for other things striking it. Make sure the battery is grounded to the car and the car is grounded to the engine block.
