Please complete this sentence: If I were upgrading a 1970 2002 from a single-barrel solex to a Weber 32/32 DGV, I would...

I'm using what appears to be a stock 2 bbl manifold and a K&N style filter. I'm specifically curious about how to reroute or remove/block the various hoses that connected to the stock 1 bbl air cleaner housing or manifold ( from the air pump and cotrol valve, the fuel vapor return line, etc.) But I'd also appreciate any advice on the whole transplant experience. The jury in the archive seems to be deadlocked on the need to hog out one of the ports to match the 36 throttle bore. Any other must do's?

Thanks much,

You MUST either use a spacer or hog out the manifold.the manifold does not match the ports on the head SOOOOOOOO I would cut the carb base to fit a 38/38 should I ever need more, and gasket match the intake to the head.understanding what transadapt did with their spacer and the use of intake turtles I modified the intake and It does make a real difference.I have a 1 barrell parked next to my 02 A if you have specific question I can walk and look.
