I have seen a few of these cars. Really nice. I also knew of a gorgeous one that was on the market for quite a while. A word of warning, though, no matter what you pay for the car now, restoration is so expensive that the rule of thumb is that you will only return 50 cents of every dollar you spend. As an example, I was at a Concours show near Seattle yesterday and an enty just got his car back from a restoration that he said cost him $30,000. His car, beautiful as it is, would be tough to sell for $15,000.
You might want to stick some money away each month for your dream car, and find one when you have a fistfull of dollars that is in better shape. It may cost you half as much and be ready to drive much sooner in the long run.
