Trim and body pieces are very rare and expensive for these cars. If I were you I'd get a 2800CS or 3.0CS. Much more refined and better/faster car. Though often more money but worth it. Its sort of like buying a Sunbeam Alpine in that you'll wish you bought a Tiger instead.
I know of a 71 2800CS for $2500 here in So. Cal. Where are you?

this post could be more for european guys.....

so - this is the story: i have a chance to acquire a '68 2000CS for about 900$. what is the catch? the catch is that the car was parked in '83 and was not moved since. it needs heavy restoration in all areas - body / upholstery / engine. it has all parts (either in their place or in the trunk). all glass is OK (one light mirror is rusted)......

question is: is it worth it?

i am not going to sell it after restoration (if i decide to buy it) - but it is going to be a kind of investment...... i have a '73 2002 to be my daily driver and this 2000CS is a kind of a "dream machine".....

any kind of advice or suggestion is much appreciated!
