than me.

Pierre:
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove old 2002 regulator from left inner fender. Throw it away.

2. Cut the light blue wire off the plug that formerly plugged into the old alternator. Tuck the plug out of the way. Crimp or solder a female connector to the light blue wire, and plug it into the D+ terminal on the new alternator.

3. Connect the big wire with the ring terminal to the output post on the new alternator. Make sure you install the little rubber boot that is supposed to cover the terminal after the wire is connected. Check the alternator belt tension. If it is too tight, it will trash the water pump and alternator bearings.

4. Reconnect battery, fire her up, and marvel at how much brighter your lights are and how much better your wipers, heater blower, etc work.
