There were 3,155 Mod 74 automatics built from January thru July 1974 (VIN 4280275 - 4283429). Assuming 450 were built per month, yours came off the production line in mid June. Add another 2 months for it to get to the dealer. It probably sat around at the dealers long enough to be sold as a 1975 model.
