i am about to do this switch too. i am considering the rear "cage" set up, but , for sure, i am going with an optima "red top" sealed battery- eliminate gas release probs, and more crank amps ... highly rated battery, i use the yellow top in my boat and am very happy with the results. stated capacity is right on.. etc.
